Workshops

Would you like to learn the basics of leatherworking, or create a unique leather item with your own hands?

Through this page, I will be offering a variety of leatherworking workshops. The available workshops may change over time as I develop new ideas, techniques, and projects, so be sure to check back regularly.

Whether you’re completely new to leathercraft or simply looking for a creative and hands-on experience, there will be workshops for different skill levels and interests.

New workshop announcements and updates will also be shared on my Facebook page, so feel free to follow me there to stay informed about upcoming dates and opportunities.

I look forward to creating something together!

Make your own leather journal

The examples shown are intended as inspiration. Some of the journals pictured are previous works and are not intended as direct workshop outcomes. During the workshop, we will work with designs that are appropriate for the available time and the experience level of the participants.

In this workshop, we will create a handcrafted leather sketchbook or journal in A6 format together.

During the workshop, you will be introduced to:

• Cutting and preparing leather
• Leather carving, tooling, and stamping
• Dyeing and finishing leather
• Hand stitching and assembly
• Professional edge finishing

You will learn how to work with specialized leatherworking tools used for these techniques.

No prior experience is required. The workshop is specifically designed for beginners, but participants with some experience are also very welcome.

You can choose from a selection of prepared designs, but it is also possible to use your own design by prior arrangement.
